A new patio, a re-laid path, a sunken slab fixed, a gravel bed put in or a tired lawn re-turfed. I take on the small and medium landscaping jobs that the big landscaping firms don't want, and I do them with a proper sub-base, proper falls for drainage and a tidy finish.

1. Patio Laying & Patio Tiling
New patios laid on a full sub-base with a mortar bed and pointed or jointed joints. Porcelain patio tiles need a primed bed and careful cutting - I have the kit for it.

5. Turfing & Lawn Renovation
- New turf laid (prepared and levelled) - £25-£40 per m²

6. Raised Beds, Sleepers & Small Walls
- Sleeper raised bed - £250-£600 depending on size

Prices are a guide. Every garden is different, so I'll give you a fixed written price after seeing photos or the site. Access (through the house vs. side gate) makes a real difference to patio prices.

FAQs
How long does a patio take?
A typical 15m² patio is 2-3 days: one day to dig out and lay the sub-base, one to two days to lay and point. Porcelain takes a little longer because of the cutting.
Porcelain or natural stone?
Porcelain patio tiles don't stain, don't grow moss and don't need sealing, but cost more to buy and lay. Indian sandstone looks warmer and is cheaper, but needs sealing and a yearly clean. Happy to talk through which suits your garden.
Can you match my existing patio?
Usually, if the slabs are still available. If not, I'll suggest the closest match or a contrasting border that looks intentional.
Do I need planning permission?
Not for a normal back-garden patio. Front gardens over 5m² need permeable paving or drainage to a lawn or bed, which I build in as standard.
